Wipe away tears from other people’s eyes, even if yours has not been wiped away
When your heart carries a burden
that cannot be placed on the shoulders of the world,
wipe away another person’s tear, even if yours is still fresh.
Do not be like the awaited rain,
it is in vain to look for it in the desert.
Be the one whose eyes wait for a touch,
for the warmth of a hand, even a stranger’s.
By bringing hope in a dark hour,
you will dispel the fog of doubt,
you will heal the wound bleeding outside,
you will hear a whisper in the din of the day.
When your lips are pursed with pain,
and your steps seem pointless,
become a path that others can walk on,
build bridges over rivers of despair.
Because although your heart has not known solace,
you can be the one who wipes away tears,
even if no one ever wipes yours.
And so every night
On a moonlit night
on the wings of imagination
I set off on a journey to the land of dreams,
where elves and fairies
guard the secret of happiness.
There the whisper of flowers, the laughter of butterflies,
flying unicorns
live in harmony,
and miracles happen instantly.
Magic smells in the air,
time doesn’t even move,
and how healthy I am.
Signs on a road that doesn’t exist
I walk along paths, places full of silence.
I can only see outlines in the distance
dreams born in childhood.
I carve goals in stone,
I form with effort and faith.
The path to them is rarely straight,
more often winding and steep, shrouded in fog.
Standing at the crossroads I know
that the sun even shines
when you can’t see it
and always shows the direction,
when other signs fail.
I am part of history.
I’m not afraid to stop and take a breath.
I listen to the voice of love and truth,
I’m not looking for a map. I have her in my heart
where my true self rests.
And it will lead me further,
when the wind blows in your eyes.
Modern Tower of Babel
In the world of people
day becomes night,
friend becomes enemy.
Between us and them – you and me,
love meets hatred,
hope despair.
We are close, yet far,
a step apart, and two worlds.
Sometimes laughter, sometimes crying,
– some build bridges,
others build walls.
Words heal and hurt,
gestures unite and divide –
the core of adversity.
Is there a path to reconciliation,
in this labyrinth of divisions?
Can the heart speak
louder than differences?
In the world of people, where
contrasts rule the world,
let us destroy the Tower of Babel.
Immortality
A word without a capital letter
and dots.
Enchanted in eternity,
in an unknown direction,
like a shadow follows a person.
What, who is he?
A dream of life?
The pulse of stars in space?
The purpose of rooting
in memories,
not in the body?
Or maybe the will to survive
in the monument of human memory,
in traces, in smiles, in tears,
in the wisdom of the old oak?
Or the desire for love
which persists in spite
good or bad coin?
Even though we are passing away
like a leaf carried by a breeze,
that’s all we’ll leave
will testify that a moment ago,
no further, we were titanium
in the narrow space of mortality.
